Horse Riding Lessons

In our lesson program we teach riders age 5 - 105 the fundamentals of horsemanship. We start from the foundations of working with horses to whatever personal goal the rider has. Our main goal is to create a correct and kind rider, no matter the discipline. If the rider is aiming for blue ribbons, or just a break from everyday life, our goal is to build the best horseperson we can.
what kind of riding do we offer?

We offer a multi-disciplinary riding curriculum with many different options to choose from.

Every discipline includes classes in ground training and other unmounted education.

How we work

We use the HorseSense Learning Levels curriculum, where all of the skills we want you to know are broken down into a checklist of objectives.

Objectives are progressive, which means that some concepts and skills may be introduced in a lower level and then expanded with more detail in a later level.

Each “checkmark” we give students as they work through Red Level (level 1) creates a little steppingstone to more in-depth knowledge or advanced skills in the next levels.

When students have demonstrated all of the knowledge and skills required for a level, we commemorate that accomplishment with a ribbon!
